Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Mission Viejo High School Football Boosters is to enhance the Mission Football experience of all players, at all levels, by providing financial assistance and support to the football program.

Mission Viejo High School Football Boosters Incorporated, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, which has a mission of promoting and supporting football at Mission Viejo High School - by identifying the program’s needs, and organizing the players’ parents, to meet those needs; the club will have a positive and lasting impact on the program.  The contributions and support of our Player Families, Football Alumni and Community Members are instrumental to the success of the program.

 

Fundraising

 

The Booster Club provides over 87% of the operating funds needed to run the football program. Our budget is approximately $400,000/year, and is spent primarily on equipment, coaches, transportation and various other expenses that allow us to continue to field one of the best football programs in the Nation.

Funds are raised through sponsorships, merchandise sales, donations and various special events during the course of the year. As a non-profit entity we try hard to break even, and any surplus will be reinvested in the program (e.g., new machines for the weight room, replacement jerseys, etc).

Your support helps provide the coaching and equipment resources required to field a Varsity, JV and Freshman team, plus the various events and projects that help our players achieve their potential.

Our key fundraising events are the sale of ads and sponsorships (for the stadium, the home game program and the website), the Golf Ball Drop, BLAST, the snack bar, and spirit wear. We also depend on parent contributions and the generous sponsorship of local businesses.
